Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know to sell your electronic boards, processors, memory and IT equipment: prices, shipping, payment, data.

Selling your equipment

Who can sell their WEEE to RECYNEW?

Anyone: individuals, companies, public bodies, charities and recyclers. The buyback price increases with your profile — create a free account to unlock your price list (prices adapted to your profile).

What equipment do you buy?

Electronic boards (motherboards, high-grade boards), processors, RAM, hard drives and SSDs, power supplies and complete IT equipment. See our public price lists, updated regularly, or request a quote for a specific lot.

Is there a minimum quantity?

No minimum. Displayed prices apply at the "per kilo" tier; they increase for pallet and full truck volumes. For small volumes, consider grouping shipments to offset postage.

How is the price set?

Each product has a public buyback price on its page. Your price depends on your profile (individual, professional, recycler) and quantity. After we receive and weigh your parcel, we assess the equipment and you receive a detailed purchase order to validate online — nothing is binding before your approval.

Shipping and tracking

How do I ship my equipment?

Create your buyback request online: you get a reference and a shipping slip to include in the parcel, with our warehouse address (RECYNEW, Millonfosse, northern France). Pack carefully: intact components are worth more. For large volumes (pallets), contact us to arrange collection.

Who pays for shipping?

You cover shipping for standard parcels. For large volumes (pallet, truck), collection can be arranged and factored into the offer — mention it in your request.

How do I track my request?

Each request has an online tracking page behind a secure link (sent by email). You see every step: parcel received, assessment, offer, payment — and you validate your purchase order there.

Payment and invoicing

When and how do I get paid?

As soon as you accept the offer online, we prepare payment by bank transfer. The purchase order validated online counts as your agreement — nothing to print.

Do I need to issue an invoice?

You choose when accepting the offer: either you issue an invoice to RECYNEW for the agreed amount (typical for businesses), or the purchase order is enough and serves as proof of the transaction.

Data and environment

What happens to the data on my hard drives?

Storage media are securely wiped, or physically destroyed when not reusable. Businesses can request an erasure certificate — mention it in your request.

Is the equipment recycled or reused?

Both: working components (tested processors, memory, drives) go to reuse — the best outcome; the rest goes to certified material recycling channels (smelters for the precious metals in boards).

Do you provide a waste tracking note (BSD)?

Yes — for companies that need it to meet their WEEE obligations, we provide supporting documents. Mention your requirement in the message of your buyback request.
